Well, its been a long weekend and start of the week. I ended up in the hospital yesterday with Rhyan trying to make her way into the world. The doctor and nurses there were so kind to me. I don’t know what I would have done without them. But, I have been put on bed rest and no stress instructions if I want to make it till the 16th. But, I am done with my rambling, since I have been home all day I was able to work on my newest kit. This would be Skyler’s favorite My Little Pony. Rainbow Dash. So today I am offering this kit as a freebie. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
This is a very large download, I must warn you. Let me know if you have any difuculty and I will break it down into smaller files.
With Law Enforcement, It came from growing up and having good Police Officers around me. I always wanted to be able to help those around me. I saw that with the police officers that have helped my family along the way. I was closer to being a teenager when I saw this mostly. See, My father was not always well. He passed away in 2006 and I am happy he is no longer in pain. Donald, my father, had heart problems and strokes from the time I was 13 years old and I still remember some of his bad times. He would forget where he placed something and think I stole it. Well, if you call 911, they have to come. There was two different occasions that the police really helped him. Once, the threatened to take his life, they asked him a few times to stop saying it, before they took him to get help. The other time was when he went missing. They searched all night. I still don’t know how my father got into our shed, but there he was, cold and afraid. The Mesquite Police Department has always been good to my family and I am really thankful for that.
Now, My mom has always been a Manager. I remember going to her store where she worked and spending all night with her. Helping and having fun. Then I also remember her making Manager of the Year several times. She is a inspiration to me. She raised two kids, and pretty much had to raise her “Child” Husband. All the while, being the bread winner in our family. My mom inspired me to make the same move a few years ago. To go into management. I was given my first position in management and I used her as a resource to fiddle my way through it. I did it, I was able to keep the account and open a new facility. I loved it more and more. It is the reason why I am where I am today. I am still in Law Enforcement, but as a Security Manager. I just hope I can make my mother proud and be even half the manager she always was.

Today’s 30 Things My Children Should Know About Me is “What are 5 Passions You Have?” I am passionate about a lot of things but I will say that I do have a few more that really stand out. Most of them are on this site already.
Coffee, yes I am passionate about my coffee. I know I am addicted to this stuff. But, I always make a strong cup in the morning and most of the time end my day with a cup also. I know where my addiction comes from. My mom, she started me off at a tender age with her “soak.” A Biscuit drenched in coffee and covered in sugar.
My Photography. I don’t take a lot of photos lately, but that is because of time. I plan to start back again and doing more and more. I miss it.
Scrapbooking and photo editing. I lost most of my digital scrapping a few years ago just like some of my other photos years ago when my hard drive crashed. I have now learned a lesson about this. I have even started creating my own scrapping materials. I love it and spend a lot of time dedicated to it.
My crafting. I don’t have a lot of time or resources to do it, but I do love it when I do.
My little Family. I love them with all my heart. I would do anything for them.
